Melanie Blatt stunned fans with a clip of her lookalike daughter, Lilyella Zender-Blatt, as they opened up about managing their tumultuous relationship.The All Saints star, 51, welcomed Lilyella, 27, from her relationship with former Jamiroquai bassist Stuart Zender, 52. Taking to TikTok on Tuesday, the mother-and-daughter duo revealed their relationship was in a much better place after a rocky patch as they teased a future project.Melanie said: ‘I just wanted to say hello and put a little idea past you. Why were you beefing with me at eight years old… What have I done?’Melanie continued: ‘Anyway, for a long time we found it difficult to deal with each other, and that’s because Lilly is on the spectrum, which I didn’t know or understand anything about back in those days.’I’ve got much better at understanding those things now, which has helped me to understand to communicate better with [Lilyella].’We’re still far from perfect, but anyway. I know nobody wants another one of these, but we thought about maybe doing a podcast to just talk about our relationship.’But we wanted to do something where, as a mother and daughter, we can discuss the trials and tribulations of trying to have a relationship – especially during teenage years, as that is super hard.”Me being some sort of celebrity parent, you being neurodivergent and not understanding how that works, and you know the tales of what we’ve been through.
