Major UK theme park offering half-price tickets for the whole of March

Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach Resort is set to celebrate its 130th anniversary this weekend.

Guests can join in by taking advantage of half price tickets throughout March.

Tickets will be priced at £30 during the month – half the on-the-day rate and the lowest priced tickets available on a Saturday all season.

This promotion comes as part of the brand-new Adrenaline Weekends, which are running every Saturday and Sunday during March.

Joining this year’s new lineup of deals is ENS?, a special seat upgrade that adds an extra rush of adrenaline while riding Icon.

Blackpool's Pleasure Beach Resort is offering highly discounted prices as the resort is celebrating its 130th birthday this upcoming weekend

Featuring a specially designed twisting seat, ENS? transforms the experience on the UK’s only double-launch rollercoaster.

Previously priced at £15, visitors can enjoy a ride on ENS? during March for just £5.

It will also be the first time guests can see the record-breaking new ride, Aviktas, up close.

Having previously been under construction during the last period the park was open, visitors can now catch a glimpse of the ride in full motion, with testing underway.

The giant ride recently completed its first full 138ft swing when tested last week.

This follows a wave of anticipation earlier in the month after videos showing its pendulum rotating were shared on social media.

Standing at 138ft tall, Aviktas is the tallest ride of its type in the UK and is due to open in spring 2026 – an official date is set to be revealed in the coming months.

Also this Saturday, March 7, Pleasure Beach will also host its first ever Big Coaster Quiz after the park closes.

Guests are invited to a high-speed quiz night in Pleasure Beach’s Horseshoe Bar from 5pm, with the quiz beginning at 6.30pm.

Amanda Thompson OBE, CEO of Pleasure Beach Resort, said: ‘This season we are proudly celebrating 130 years of welcoming guests through our gates.

‘With the events and promotions, we have lined up, I truly believe this will be an unmissable year for the park.

‘2026 is a milestone year for us in more ways than one. We’re welcoming a new ride, celebrating our 130th birthday, and we’ve launched a whole host of exciting new offers designed to make it even easier to visit Pleasure Beach Resort.

‘We can’t wait to begin such an exciting season. Here’s to the next 130 years.’

Pleasure Beach Resort will be welcoming visitors from 11am until 5pm over this opening weekend.

The park will be open every weekend during March and will remain open until the end of the season in November.
