Patrice Evra is selling his former home – which features a mini mural of arch-rival Sergio Aguero who once rented it.
The five-bedroom mansion features the artwork of the former Manchester City striker showing his famous goal celebration which saw his side lift the Premier League title for the first time in 2012.
The Blues legend rented the house off the former Manchester United defender when he played for City and regularly posted pictures of himself at the house.
And cheeky Aguero added his own personal touch to Evra’s mansion in Hale, Greater Manchester, by adding the huge portrait of himself on to one of the walls in the living room.
But now former United full-back Evra has decided to put the stunning mansion on the market for £3,495,000.
Evra will be making a loss on the property after he shelled out £3,750,000 back in 2011 while playing for the Red Devils.
The luxurious detached family home has four floors with its very own lift and is offered by the estate agents chain free.
The lower ground floor is home to a stunning leisure complex, comprising of an open-plan games/media area with cinema and bar, glass-fronted gymnasium, changing room and a superb swimming pool with separate Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.
Bi-fold doors open out from the swimming pool to the rear garden, creating a fantastic inside/outside leisure and entertaining space.
Externally, the enclosed rear garden is extremely spacious and secure, with lawned area, patio area, basketball court and brick built BBQ, plus an enclosed garden room/gazebo, ideal for al-fresco dining. There is a secure gated entrance with double garage and ample additional parking space for numerous vehicles on the front drive. Security is excellent, with electric gates, alarm and CCTV.
It was lived in for a number of years by Aguero after Evra left United and has previously been rented out for a mammoth £20,000-per-month.
Former Argentina striker Aguero is considered to be one of City’s all-time great players and scored an incredible 184 in 275 appearances in a career with them spanning from 2011 to 2021.
He is the club’s all-time top goal scorer and became a hero to City supporters when he scored at the death in the final game of the 2011-12 season in a 3-2 win over Queens Park Rangers which secured their first Premier League title. The goal meant City pipped Evra’s United to the league in dramatic fashion.
Evra is a former France international and United legend who played for them from 2006 to 2014 making a total of 273 appearances.
