Jennifer Aniston is well-known for her toned figure and as she rings in her 57th birthday, the actress still has one of the most enviable bodies in Hollywood.

The actress has previously revealed that she is committed to a healthy and holistic lifestyle and follows a high-protein, low-carb and low-sugar diet.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Jennifer is ‘conscious and mindful’ about everything she eats and how she looks after herself and ensuring she gets enough sleep.

The TV personality practises intermittent fasting, going 16 hours without eating and consuming all her food during an eight-hour window each day, for instance between 10am to 6pm.

Due to this 6/8 method, Jennifer typically begins every morning with a cup of hot water with lemon followed by a coffee with low-fat milk.

For her breakfast, she switches between oatmeal, with egg whites, a protein shake or eggs – cooked in various ways.

Speaking in an interview with First For Women magazine she also revealed she takes climbing classes on her stair climber. But the best part of her day is the time she sets aside to meditate.

The actress added: ‘When I wake up I have warm lemon water, then a shake or avocado and eggs. I found ways to make eggs every which way.

‘But I also do oatmeal with an egg white whipped in. Do it right before the oatmeal is finished cooking – it gives extra protein and this fluffy texture that’s delicious.’

Speaking about her protein shake, Jennifer told PEOPLE: ‘I’ll put in bananas, cherries, blackberries, a greens powder, a collagen peptide, a little cacao powder, chocolate stevia drop and chocolate almond milk.’

Her favourite lunch is ahi tuna with a cucumber and lentil salad, with the Friends stars saying: ‘I use Bragg’s amino acids to replace soy sauce.’

Snacks include a hard-boiled egg, cheese sticks, or a cup of soup as mid-morning snacks or between lunch and dinner.

To round off her day, Jennifer said she enjoys roast chicken with spiralled zucchini and pesto sauce, but she is partial to a ‘pasta carbonara every couple of weeks’.

Once in a while, Jennifer revealed that she does allow herself a treat day after becoming too strict about her diet in the past.

Jennifer will have ‘pizza nights, burgers or Mexican food,’ she told PEOPLE ahead of the release of her cookbook in September.

Some of her favourite Los Angeles restaurants are the Japanese eatery Nobu in Malibu and the Mexican joint Casa Vega in Sherman Oaks.

She also told the site what her favourite item in the new book is: Aniston’s ‘personal favorite’ dish is a savoury snack called Enchilada Bites.

‘It’s guilt-free, because they’re just little bites. You can stretch it into two bites, but definitely, definitely yummy, yummy, yummy,’ she said of the cheesy recipe.

Last year Jennifer said she will sip on a dirty martini cocktail when the mood takes her.

Her alcoholic tipple of choice is the martini mix, which is made with gin and vermouth and garnished with an olive or a lemon twist.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: ‘Jen’s meals are rich in protein with a healthy amount of carbs, and she also indulges in treats and cheat days.

‘If she wants to enjoy a dirty martini or tequila, she’ll splurge. It’s no big deal.’

When it comes to relaxing, The Morning Show star practices meditation and makes sure she gets plenty of fresh air with her pet dogs.

The source added: ‘She meditates, and loves hikes with her dogs.’

Jen is said to not be worried about ageing and has no interest in cosmetic procedures and instead wants to focus on being ‘healthy and happy’ as she continues to grow as a woman.

The insider spilled: ‘Jen feels fine about getting older. For her, it’s about being healthy and happy as she can be.’

JENNIFER’S FAVOURITE RECIPE

By Heidi Parker

Jennifer Aniston has a new cookbook, Cook With Clydeo.

The collection of recipes is for humans even though they are presented by a fictional dog named Clydeo.

And the offerings are far from diet-friendly as she covers pizza, lasagne and Mexican dishes. But the cookbook is meant ‘for kids,’ it is pointed out on the cover.

One of the top recipes the 57-year-old Friends star shared was for the yummy Mexican meal enchiladas.

And the ingredients are packed with calories, which is surprising considering the beauty is an impressive size two.

The snacks are made in a muffin pan so they can be bite size, and maybe that is how the Hollywood stalwart – who is a size two – wins because the portions are small.

‘The recipes are simple but delicious, and my hope is that families will enjoy trying these new dishes and have fun while doing it. Bon appetit!’ Aniston told People.

Amazon said: ‘From breakfast through dessert, young chefs will learn how to make yummy, crowd-pleasing dishes, including Jennifer Aniston’s Easy Enchilada Bites, Clydeo’s Legendary Lasagna, and more!

‘With easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions, helpful kitchen-safety tips, funny sidebars from Clydeo on how to add even more pizzazz to a meal, and stories of mishap and triumph from Jen’s kitchen, this book will empower any kid to grab an apron and take a bite out of life, just like Clydeo!’

The directions for the mini enchilada bites, according to People, are to preheat oven to 350°F. Place tortillas on a cutting board. Using a 3-inch circular cookie cutter, cut out 24 tortilla rounds.

Then Aniston asks to brush 1 side of each tortilla round with oil. Push tortilla rounds into muffin wells, oiled side down, to make little cups.

Next, stir together Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese in a small bowl.

Then spoon about 1 1/2 teaspoons of the enchilada sauce, 1 1/2 teaspoons diced onion, and 2 teaspoons cheese mixture into each tortilla cup.

One has to bake Enchilada Bites in preheated oven until cheese is melted and tortillas are crispy and golden on bottoms, 20 to 25 minutes.

Then one must remove Enchilada Bites from oven, and transfer to a platter. Sprinkle crumbled Cotija cheese on top. Serve right away with guacamole.

The snacks serve 12 people, though if each person has two, that would be six people, obviously.

It takes a total of 35 minutes to make these cheesy wonders.

Aniston released her debut children’s book, Clydeo Takes A Bite Out Of Life, with illustrations by Bruno Jacob, in October 2024.

It was the first in a four-book deal between the actress, HarperCollins and Invisible Universe.

Per HarperCollins, the children’s cookbook will be followed by Clydeo Versus Peanut Butter later this year and Clydeo Makes A Friend in winter 2026.

This comes after the Los Angeles native discussed what medical procedures she has done.

The actress, who is known for her age-defying looks and toned frame, opened up about her beauty regime in the latest edition of Glamour.

Aniston was not alone in the interview as she was joined by her Morning Show costars Reese Witherspoon, Marion Cotillard, Karen Pittman and Nicole Beharie.
