The TV star has had a busy time of late jetting between London and South Africa, where she is presenting the show.

She spent Valentine’s weekend with her footballer boyfriend, Ruben Dias, in the UK, who presented her with a giant bouquet of roses.

The presenter documented her celebrations in a string of snaps on her Instagram Stories, as they headed out for a lavish dinner.

While Maya and Ruben enjoyed many of the traditions celebrated by couples on Valentine’s Day, the trip also included an unlikely trip to B&Q.

Sharing a glimpse of their Valentine’s Day dinner, Maya joked she and Ruben were channelling their inner ‘Picasso’ by drawing at the dinner table.

The star joked the Manchester City star was ‘Picasso number two,’ as she showed off his art skills.

The couple then paid a visit to B&Q, where Ruben picked up a saw to cut the stems off her vast bouquet of roses.

The couple have been dating since 2024, but only confirmed their romance publicly in April last year.

And their relationship seems to be going from strength to strength, with Maya candidly admitting this week that the only reason she still lives in the UK is for Ruben.

Speaking on her Instagram stories, she said: ‘There is something about me abroad compared to me in England, and she’s a better human.

‘I think everyone is, but also love a little stroll, I love a bike ride. England, shook to ride a bike, to walk around for too long on my own.

‘All the signs are leading to she needs to live in a warm country. If you think about it, technically my jobs are all abroad anyway.’

She had captioned her video update: ‘I’m not gonna leave yet, really, but I am only in England for my man at this point.’
