The Footballers Wives star, 54, first posted a snap of the snooker pro, 50, whom she wed in a low-key ceremony last year, as he tucked into a sandwich while ‘vibing’ to pal Kenny Thomas’ 1991 hit Thinking About Your Love.
The couple, who have split multiple times, most recently went their separate ways in 2024 but got back together in January 2025 just months before tying the knot and relocating to the UAE for a ‘fresh start’.
Ronnie cut a casual figure in a £100 grey Bathing Ape T-shirt which he teamed with a pair of light blue chinos.
Later in a clip, Laila asked: ‘Ronnie how old were you when Kenny Thomas came out with his song Thinking About You Love?’.
To which he cheekily replied: ‘One, so that must make Kenny about 85 now’ leaving his wife in stitches.
Singer Kenny, 57, thankfully saw the funny side and reshared the post, writing: ‘Alright @ronnie – Too funny, and at times I definitely feel it – love ya and @lailarouass’.
The couple sold their Essex home, choosing the Middle East over Yorkshire – or even Spain, which Ronnie had briefly considered – to focus on his beloved sport.
For a time seven-time world champion, Ronnie cut off all social media and phone has no messaging apps, news apps, or even a web browser but he now appears to be back on Instagram.
He previously told The Sunday Times: ‘I wish I’d [cut myself off] before, I might do it every six months. I’m not looking to progress my career through networking and that sort of thing.
‘I’ve got my friends and that’s enough. The phone doesn’t really add to my life. So it’s quite nice, really.’
Their choice of Dubai was largely influenced by his wife, who is of Moroccan origin and wanted a sunny home.
‘We’re not there for a bouji sort of lifestyle. I just like the simplicity of it there, the weather’s great,’ he said.
Clearly drawn to a low-key life, the couple tied the knot at St George’s Town Hall in Shadwell, East London, without fanfare and without a best man.
‘I didn’t actually have anyone there,’ he said. ‘I mean, we had Laila’s sisters. But we didn’t want anything big.’
O’Sullivan also admitted that not speaking the language makes an undisturbed lifestyle easier to maintain.
‘One of the beauties of not knowing the language is I don’t really want to talk to everyone that I come in contact with,’ he added.
‘I know it sounds terrible but we just smile at each other, hello, and it’s good.’
It is was Ronnie’s first trip down the aisle, but Laila previously married Abdeslam Rouass in 1990.
The exes divorced in 2003, and he was later jailed for fraud.
In October Laila revealed she has been diagnosed with an ‘incurable condition’ that has left her feeling ‘broken‘.
The actress, who did not disclose the type of illness she has, did confirm it is not life-threatening, but has ‘tested her in ways she never imagined’.
Speaking about her biggest challenge to date, the actress wrote: ‘I have something to tell you. I’ve recently been diagnosed with an incurable condition — one that’s tested me in ways I never imagined.
‘It’s not life-threatening, but losing a bit of control over my body has humbled me… and, at times, broken me open.’
