Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin‘s daughter Apple Martin has dismissed rumors that she was expelled from school for bullying.
The nepo baby, 21, hit out at the allegations calling them ‘completely untrue’ via her Instagram Stories on Monday.
Martin – who recently revealed her big post college plans – re-shared a comment, she wrote, stating that she wanted to share ‘just a quick little message from myself’.
‘Hi! I didn’t wanna respond but this narrative is completely false and has gotten so out of hand,’ she explained in a message to an unnamed account.
‘I have never been expelled from any school, especially not for bullying anyone.
‘I completely understand ppl not liking me and that is okay! The internet is a place where ppl can share their opinions.
‘But this rumor is completely untrue, I am not that type of person and anyone who is close to me knows that ??.’
In 2024, Martin faced bullying accusations after a video showed her seemingly attempting to crash a fellow debutante’s photo shoot and roll her eyes at her date at the Le Bal des Debutantes in Paris.
Afterwards, a source close to Paltrow told DailyMail.com that her daughter is a ‘girls’ girl’ not a ‘mean girl’.
‘Apple’s more playful and fun and she’s really a total girls’ girl,’ the source said.
‘She would never mean to take the spotlight from anyone, that was not her intention. To characterize her as a mean girl is very untrue.
‘She really had such a wonderful evening and I feel bad that this is even taking away from that because it was such an uplifting evening for her and the other girls.’
The Vanderbilt student went viral over footage said to show her making a brazen play for a photographer’s attention while another attendee had her photo taken.
Later, Martin was snapped rolling her eyes at date Count Leo Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck.
But the source insisted to DailyMail.com that Martin has a ‘good rapport’ with her aristocratic escort.
‘They had cameras on them all day long and they were playing around,’ they said.
‘It was in total jest and once again, not snarky, not anything negative.’
Earlier this month Martin revealed that she has changed her post-college plans in an interview with Vogue, and instead of attending law school plans to follow in her famous mom’s footsteps as an actress.
Martin will graduate from Vanderbilt University in May with a degree in law, history and society.
Speaking of her prior plans of going into law school, she explained: ‘I was in that rebellious “I don’t wanna be like my parents” type of phase.’
She also clarified that she will not pursue becoming a musician like her dad, who’s the frontman of Coldplay.
‘I don’t wanna be a singer. I like musical theater, but getting onstage by yourself to sing is so terrifying,’ she said.
‘I love dancing and I love acting. My dream is to act.’
Martin also revealed the cosmetic enhancements she has undergone in a video for Vogue’s YouTube channel.
‘Time to come clean. I got lip filler one time,’ the showbiz legacy said. ‘I think I got it when I was 18. I just thought that it was too big.’
She observed that, ‘Everyone seems to think that I have crazy lip filler,’ and insisted that in reality, ‘I just pout my lips a lot and I put on a lot of lip liner.’
Paltrow split from Martin in 2014 in what she provoked widespread mockery by describing the separation as ‘conscious uncoupling’, but the pair remained friendly co-parents.
They also share son Moses, 19, together.
Apple has been emerging into the public eye in recent years, making her fashion show debut in 2023 sitting at the front row of the Chanel extravaganza in Paris.
