The Cornhuskers suffered their first loss of the year and are now 6-1.Minnesota's keys to the victory were Stephanie Samedy's 27 kills, Regan Pittman's 14 blocks and CC McGraw's three aces and serving runs.
The last Gopher to accomplish the feat dates back to 2017 when Molly Lohman also had 14 against Michigan at Maturi Pavilion.
Trailing 23-24, Minnesota had got a side out on a Nebraska attack error, then Samedy tied the set with a kill.
Nebraska called a timeout, but the Gophers had another kill from Samedy and Minnesota closed out the set with its 15 th block of the match.
The Gophers took a 17-12 lead off a Samedy kill, but the Huskers stormed back to tie the set at 18-18.
A Nebraska attack error gave the Gophers the 25-23 set win and match final.
