Both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are set to miss their second game in a row on Thursday night as the two go through the NBA’s health and safety protocol.
In their absence, the LA Clippers need to get more production out of everyone, including three-time Sixth Man of the Year Lou Williams .
He just finished third in Sixth Man of the Year voting last season and the last time I checked, still has the ability to go to his left.
Granted, he’s not getting as many minutes this year (19.3 versus 28.7 last season) so I get that there is probably a bit of an adjustment on his part to make.
In fact, Lou is shooting a lower percentage from the field while taking fewer shots.
If he can find his game, the best starting five in basketball will have a Sixth Man of the Year contender coming off the bench behind them, leaving opponents with absolutely no letdown.
