Live: Melbourne Victory 0-0 Perth Glory

Melbourne Victory and Perth Glory come into this clash off following weekend defeats as both sides seek to kick-start their seasons at AAMI Park.

Ryan Shotton was forced to knee the ball back to his goalkeeper under pressure, before Bruno Fornaroli and Andy Keogh threatened.

Returning to the Victory attack, Marco Rojas caused problems with a mazy dribble and another forward making a comeback, Robbie Kruse, was blocked by a fast-reacting Dane Ingham.

Shotton’s sloppy pass almost cost Victory as Keogh lead the counter but a loose touch by Nick D’Agostino meant the chance slipped away.

CHANCE: Lauton - Everything but the finish for VictoryVictory’s Jake Brimmer almost put his former club to the sword in the 29th minute from Jacob Butterfield’s cutting through ball but Velaphi was able to punch away the ex-Glory man's effort, before Big V gloveman Max Crocombe came to his side’s rescue shortly afterwards, blocking with his feet, after another defensive turnover while playing out from the back allowed Kilkenny to find Fornaroli 12 yards out.

The Navy Blue were finding their rhythm as half-time approached, with Adama Traore's cross fired goalward by Kruse but Velaphi once again dived full-length to parry away the strike.
