Michelin-star chefs share 7 Thanksgiving desserts that'll make you forget pumpkin pie exists


Legendary restaurateur Daniel Boulud combines all the classic fall flavors — pumpkin, pecan, and apple — into one Super Pie.


The pie — which was created by pastry chef Briana Holt — features a filling made with maple syrup, honey, heavy cream, fine cornmeal, eggs, butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and cider vinegar.

Add the brown sugar and vanilla paste and continue processing for a few minutes until the squash purée is "smooth and no visible lumps remain," Kim said.


Casey Hyken "This Thanksgiving, I wanted to do something fun and creative to combine all the holiday favorites into one pie," the legendary chef and restaurateur told Insider.


The pie also features cream cheese, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, ginger, and light brown sugar.
