Match of the Day: Stefanos Tsitsipas vs. Ugo Humbert, Paris

At the Rolex Paris Masters, Tuesday will present the first meeting between two of the game’s most promising talents in Stefanos Tsitsipas and Ugo Humbert .

Tsitsipas, who withdrew from St. Petersburg due to a minor leg injury before losing in the second round of Vienna, says that he is feeling just fine and excited to defend his ATP Finals crown in two weeks.

6 recently spent time with fellow Greek superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, drawing inspiration from the two-time reigning NBA MVP, as well as his first sip of coffee.

He’s surfing a wave of confidence having won his second ATP title of 2020 in Antwerp, as well as his last seven tiebreaks—a telltale sign of clutch play and belief.

His serve, forehand, backhand, shotmaking, movement and finesse were all on display in his 6-1, 7-6 (4) victory over Alex de Minaur in the Antwerp final.

Tsitsipas is a phenomenal all-court player, but his backhand remains his weaker stroke, so expect Humbert to target that wing with his sliding lefty serve.
