'We've got enough to win a title' – Kane talks up Spurs chances of winning the Premier League

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has talked up Spurs’ chances of winning the Premier League, after making a strong start to the new season.

After a season impacted by a managerial switch, injuries, coronavirus and a behind-the-scenes documentary, the 2020/21 campaign will hope to be a much smoother ride for Spurs and one that could potentially end in silverware.

Last term saw Jose Mourinho’s side finish in a disappointing sixth, but with the former Manchester United boss almost a year in to the job, improvements already seem to have been made.

The additions of the likes of Pierre-Emile Hojberg and Matt Doherty have already appeared to strengthen the side, while Gareth Bale is looking more and more impressive with each passing game.

Mourinho now has a startlingly competitive squad at his disposal, with a number of options in each position, a factor that Kane believes has made Spurs potential title winners this season, with the North London club having been able to win with beautiful football but also grinding out the “ugly” results too.

“When you look at the ability of our squad, you would definitely say we’ve got enough to win a title,” Kane told the Mirror .
