Conor McGregor accepts Dana White's proposed date for Dustin Poirier rematch...under one condition

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President, Dana White, recently stated that the promotion was willing to offer Conor McGregor his desired rematch against Dustin Poirier on January 23, 2021 after the two Lightweight’s agreed to the fight earlier this year.

Nevertheless, “Notorious” eventually got around to hopping on his social media account to respond to the “take it or leave it” ultimatum set forth by White.

If the fight eventually does come to pass on that proposed date, it will be a year since McGregor last competed.

The two were trying to lock down a charity fight between them in an attempt to stick it to UFC as a result of their respective differences with the promotion.

As far as locking down AT&T Stadium, that isn’t necessarily out of the realm of possibility since the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) recently began accepting licensure requests for combat sports , meaning that Dana White and Co. can submit an application to stage an event in early 2021.

The promotion has been wanting to stage an event in the house that Jerry built for some time now but could never lock anything down.
