Chicago Bears at Carolina Panthers: Everything you need to know about the Week 6 game before today's noon kickoff

The Chicago Bears look to improve to 5-1 for the first time since 2012 when they play the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium on Sunday.

The Bears offense will try to take a step forward under quarterback Nick Foles after 10 days of reflection and work following the 20-19 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Oct. 8.

Bears coach Matt Nagy criticized his team’s attention to detail following that win, and he said their veterans responded by leading a solid week of practice.

The Bears will be without safety Deon Bush, who continues to battle a hamstring injury, and left guard James Daniels, who went on injured reserve this week with a torn pectoral muscle.

Safety Sherrick McManis (hamstring), offensive lineman Alex Bars (shoulder) and defensive linemen John Jenkins (thumb) and Brent Urban (knee) were listed as questionable.

The Panthers will be without running back Christian McCaffrey and defensive tackle Kawann Short, who are both on injured reserve.
