Antonio Cromartie 'beyond embarrassed' at how Jets handled Le'Veon Bell situation

The Jets didn't respond to Antonio Cromartie's offer to help fix their awful defense in late September.

Since then, the Jets have also cut ties with running back Le'Veon Bell, and it seems like instead of offering his help, Cromartie has now lost faith in his former team altogether.

Cromartie expressed shock that Bell was released, and former NFL safety Dion Bailey, who appeared in five games for the Jets in 2015, tweeted that he was "officially embarrassed" after the news came out.

Former linebacker Emmanuel Acho never played for the Jets, but that didn't stop him from ripping head coach Adam Gase for "ruining" Le'Veon Bell's career.

As for Bell, "thankful" is probably the word I'd use to attempt to describe his feelings, though "relieved" and "optimistic" also fit the bill.

Check out my list of eight teams who could very likely contact Le'Veon Bell to bring him on board for the remainder of the 2020 season.
