Cyberpunk 2077 Multiplayer Will Feature Microtransactions in a Way That Makes You Happy to Spend Money

The studio has never stepped into the multiplayer area on a great scale, except for Gwent, their card-based game that experienced a quite successful launch on mobile platforms.

Although it’s yet to be revealed how the multiplayer mechanics will work in the game, fans already expect something in the scale of Grand Theft Auto Online.

Adam Kiciński, president of CD Projekt confirmed that the multiplayer section of the game will have microtransactions and in-game purchases as it’s a “great setting for selling things,” though he clarified that they won’t treat aggressively with players in this area.

According to Kiciński, the developers are trying to add in-game purchases in a way to make players happy when spending money on.

Hopefully, the game won’t be delayed again as CD Projekt RED recently assured fans that everything is going forward as planned before.

That said, if you can’t wait for a new trailer, make sure to check out the game’s RTX-On gameplay footage that was released last week.
