Dellin Betances, Seth Lugo can't hold comfy Mets lead against Braves

Dellin Betances and Seth Lugo combined to blow a four-run lead in the eighth inning of the Mets’ 11-10 loss to the Braves on Friday.

The Mets had two on with two outs in the ninth, but Wilson Ramos’ fly ball to right stopped at the warning track.

But plate umpire Mark Wegner called it a ball — drawing the ire of manager Luis Rojas — to move the count to 2-and-0.

Davis, Robinson Cano and Andres Gimenez — the rookie starting at third base as Jeff McNeil got the day off — had multiple hits.

Righthander Rick Porcello turned in a second poor outing in as many starts this season, laying the groundwork for a potentially interesting choice for Mets decision-makers when Marcus Stroman (torn left calf muscle) is ready to return.

He failed to record an out in the bottom of the fifth when he walked Dansby Swanson on four pitches and Davis, playing leftfield, dropped Freddie Freeman’s pop-up.
