Michigan State football looking like favorite for 3-star WR Andrel Anthony

One area that the Spartans struggle with in the latter years of Mark Dantonio was in-state recruiting, but that could all change in the 2021 class.

Tucker has already landed a handful of Michigan-based prospects and one of the top on the board is East Lansing’s own Andrel Anthony.

This is a tough group and Michigan State has its work cut out if it wants to land him, but things are looking good for the green and white.

Under Dantonio, Anthony was considered a long-shot and many believed he would be headed to either Michigan or Penn State despite playing football right down the road at East Lansing High, but that has all changed under Tucker.

After his top four release, experts were putting in Crystal Balls on 247Sports for Michigan State and it looks like the Spartans are the clear leaders, holding 100 percent of the predictions.

If this holds true, Michigan State may have found its lone receiver commit in the 2021 class and he may be all the Spartans take — they are loaded at the position for a couple years.
