Vikings, Kirk Cousins reach deal on two-year extension


Kirk Cousins will be in Minnesota a little longer.


Kirk Cousins and the Vikings have a couple more years to make it work.


The team and the QB have signed a two-year extension that will carry through the 2022 season, per his agent .


Cousins headed into the 2020 season at the end of a three-year deal with Washington that, to date, has paid him $54 million and is slated to be worth $30 million in the 2020 season.


In two years with the Vikings, Cousins is 18-12-1, with 7,901 yards passing, 56 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.
