National Hockey League

Flyers pick up another big win

They played Washington on Jan. 8th, Tampa Bay on Saturday, Boston on Monday, and St. Louis last night.

In fact, if the season ended today, the Flyers would barely clinch a Wild Card spot with their 25-16-6 record.

The Flyers have two easier home games ahead of them against Montreal tonight and Los Angeles on Saturday before finishing off the pre-All-Star Game schedule by hosting Pittsburgh on Jan. 21st.

So it wouldn’t be surprising to see Philadelphia in a decent position going into the break and that’s thanks in part to the recent stretch.
