Will Yankees drop Aaron Judge in lineup? Aaron Boone says …

NEW YORK — Aaron Judge has hit second in 64 of the games he’s played for the Yankees this year.

He's at home at second, where he's hit in 200 games of his career, more than triple his next closest spot, the three hole.

But with Judge mired in a deep slump, would manager Aaron Boone consider dropping his star slugger to a lower spot?

“No,” Boone said after Judge went hitless in five at-bats with four strikeouts in a 19-5 loss to the Indians at Yankee Stadium on Thursday.

Earlier in the day, general manager Brian Cashman said he didn’t believe Judge was dealing with lingering affects from the left oblique strain that sidelined him for two months.

Judge rolled his wrist on a catch attempt in the sixth but said he’s fine.
