5 Takeaways From The Kings 2019-20 Schedule

Getty ImagesSacramento Kings fans are optimistic for this season, but will have to wait to watch their team at the Golden 1 Center.

However, Sacramento does not have an All-Star player on the roster and has missed the playoffs in 13-straight seasons, so it shouldn't be much of a surprise that they haven't been prominently featured since trading DeMarcus Cousins in 2017.

The Kings will have to wait until Dec. 15 to get a first look at the Chase Center, the Golden State Warriors' new home in San Francisco.

Sacramento, meanwhile, hopes to build on a breakout season from De'Aaron Fox, a new head coach and a sensible off-season and make the playoffs for the first time in more than a decade.

The NBA schedule does give the Kings a home stand in March, when 10 of 15 games will be played in Sacramento.

To break the 13-year streak of missing the postseason, the Kings will likely need to have one of the eight best records in the Western Conference before that final slate of games.
