Where to Eat, Dance, and Drink For Portland Pride 2019

The Oregonian reports that 60,000 people are expected to attend this year’s Pride parade, and the city is throwing parties, brunches, and drag reading hours across town throughout the month.

When is it: The parade starts at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 16, but the full event runs from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday Where is it: The west side — specifically, the parade starts at the North Park Blocks, travels through Northwest Portland and along SW Naito Parkway, and ends Tom McCall Waterfront Park.

What is it: A 21+ dance party with DJ Grind and Toy Armada , featuring peppy remixes of Sia and Kelly Clarkson.

What is it: For the month of June, Punch Bowl is selling a Sip & Support Pride cocktail made with vodka, Velvet Falernum, and Angostura and 1821 Havana & Hide bitters.

What is it: NOLA is donating 10 percent of its beignet proceeds to Pride Northwest on June 15th Where do I get it: 110 NW 10th Avenue in the Pearl and at 365 N State Street in Lake Oswego

This particular show will feature performances by some of Portland’s coolest queer indie acts, including Frankie Simone , Layperson , and Out/Loud house band Doubleplusgood .
