Watch: MS Dhoni, KL Rahul in full flow at nets ahead of India's World Cup 2019 opener

MS Dhoni went big in the nets session as he hit a few balls out of the park while also worked on his defensive shots at the same time.

This is Dhoni's fourth 50-over World Cup and probably his last and he remains as vital cog in the wheel for Team India being the most experienced player in the side.

Rahul hit a classy 108 from 99 balls after walking into bat when India lost both their openers, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan, cheaply in overcast conditions.

His century was followed by Dhoni's brutal 113 off 78 balls as India posted 359 for 7 and then bowled out Bangladesh for 264 to win the match by 95 runs in Cardiff.

India's spin-twins Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal both bagged three wickets each in the game while Jasprit Bumrah picked two.

Kohli's side will be up against South Africa, who are yet to taste success in the tournament having lost against hosts England and Bangladesh in their first two games.
