Springfield Police, Dunkin' Donuts raising money for Special Olympics Ohio

The Springfield Police Division will team up with Dunkin’ Donuts to help raise money for Special Olympics Ohio.

Officers will be stationed at the 1931 S. Limestone St. Dunkin’ Donuts in Springfield from 5 a.m. until noon on Friday collecting money for the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) to benefit Special Olympics Ohio.

Each customer who visits and makes a donation to the Ohio Law Enforcement Torch Run will receive a free classic donut coupon.

Guests who donate at least $10 will receive an Ohio Law Enforcement Torch Run travel mug (while supplies last) and a coupon for a free medium hot coffee.

“We are hopeful that Ohioans will join us on Friday and show their support of Special Olympics Ohio - an incredibly important and worthy organization.”

Four other states - Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Missouri - will also participate in the Cop on a Rooftop event to raise money for their respective Special Olympic chapters.
