Stars' revamped second line coming together in playoffs

That translated into production when the Dallas Stars' second line combined for seven points (two goals, five assists) in a 4-2 win against the St. Louis Blues in Game 2 of the Western Conference Second Round at Enterprise Center on Saturday.

But Dickinson said Zuccarello, who was acquired in a trade with the New York Rangers on Feb. 23, has been key to their effectiveness.

It looks like a nothing play at first, but Zucc makes a great pass up the middle and it springs a 2-on-1.

It started with Zuccarello's backhand pass from the Blues zone to Hintz, which led to a 2-on-1 with Heiskanen.

Hintz and Dickinson have looked calm in their first Stanley Cup Playoff experience thanks in part to playing for Texas of the American Hockey League in the Calder Cup Playoffs last season.

ST. LOUIS -- Mats Zuccarello, Roope Hintz and Jason Dickinson have shown chemistry throughout the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
