Meadow struggles to keep pace at LA Open

The 27-year-old began the competition with an impressive 70, but rounds of 73 and 74 saw the Jordanstown native drift down the leaderboardStephanie Meadow endured a difficult final round at the at the Hugel-Air Premia LA Open to finish 21 shots adrift of winner Minjee Lee.


Meadow closed with her highest round of the tournament, carding a 75 that included three birdies, four bogeys and a triple bogey on the final hole.

Australia’s Lee carded a final round 67 and finished five shots clear of South Korean pair Amy Yang and Sei Young Kim.
