2019 NFL Draft: Colts could consider a defensive lineman who may not play this year

A few mock drafts believe the Colts will take Jeffery Simmons, a Mississippi State D-lineman would likely would be a top-10 pick had he not suffered a torn ACL in a February workout.

Other popular mock picks include Notre Dame defensive tackle Jerry Tillery and Mississippi State safety John Abram.

Jerry Tillery has an explosive first step and his raw strength coupled with effective hand usage makes it incredibly difficult for offensive linemen to sustain blocks.

With the exception of fine-tuning his route-running and cleaning up some drops, Hakeem Butler gives Indy a bona fide weapon that likely makes Andrew Luck salivate.

A very mature dude and ferocious hitter who can be a tone setter, he'd likely remind the Indy faithful of Bob Sanders while forming quite a safety tandem with center fielder Malik Hooker.
