Drake Bell says a Drake & Josh reboot is in the works: 'We have a great idea'

At Thursday’s iHeart Radio Music Awards, Drake Bell teased that a reboot of the Nickelodeon sitcom is in the works, and will feature himself and costar Josh Peck.

According to PEOPLE, which first reported the news , Bell and Peck are “in talks with several networks” about the project, which a source said will “be more adult and really funny.”

Drake & Josh followed Bell and Peck as stepbrothers with clashing personalities as they tried to navigate their new life together, with many comedic misadventures along the way.

The show aired on Nickelodeon from 2004 to 2007 and proved popular among viewers, making stars out of its leads and Miranda Cosgrove, who played the pair’s mischievous younger sister, Megan.

The duo had a brief falling out when Bell was not invited to Peck’s wedding in 2017, but quickly made up afterward.

Further details about the potential revival, including whether Cosgrove would be involved, are unclear at the moment.
