UW 62, Nebraska 51: Brad Davison scored 10 in a row as the Badgers put away ...

Guards D’Mitrik Trice and Brad Davison combined to hit 7 of 12 three-pointers and score 36 points in UW’s 16-point victory over Illinois.

Davison scored 13, including 10 in a row in the second half that allowed UW to turn a 45-42 lead into a 55-44 advantage with 4:34 left.

He also played solid defense on Nebraska’s James Palmer, who entered the night averaging 19.4 points per game.

The Cornhuskers shot just 23.3 percent in the opening half (7 of 30) but trimmed the deficit to single digits by grabbing nine offensive rebounds and hitting 6 of 10 free-throw attempts.

After Trice and Happ missed the front end of the bonus, Pritzl was fouled and hit both shots for a 57-46 lead with 3:04 left.
