Jordan Bowden saves UT Vols basketball at Florida with clutch second half

Last SlideNext Slide GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Jordan Bowden that led Tennessee in scoring the past two games took himself to a new level Saturday.

The junior became the Jordan Bowden who saved the Vols from a loss at Florida, where he and his Tennessee teammates ran toward the UF student section doing the Gator chomp after the final buzzer.

Bowden swiped the ball from Florida’s Andrew Nembhard and ran away for a two-handed dunk, momentarily hanging from the rim with Tennessee in the lead.

The Vols regained a five-point lead when Kyle Alexander grabbed consecutive offensive rebounds, setting up a Williams three-point play.

Kyle Alexander and John Fulkerson each spent lengthy periods on the bench with two fouls, while Schofield drew two quickly late in the half.
