Celtics close out homestand against Pacers Wednesday night

The Celtics (24-15) find themselves still sitting in fifth place, looking up at the Milwaukee Bucks, Toronto Raptors, Indiana Pacers and Philadelphia 76ers.

The Pacers, who have been rolling since early December, make their only visit of the season to the TD Garden (7:05 p.m., TV: NBC Sports Boston; radio: WBZ-FM/98.5).

The Celtics will be bidding for a sweep of the four-game homestand, and they are on a five-game Garden winning streak to improve to 14-5 on Causeway Street.

The Pacers have three straight wins over the Celtics, two of them coming last season and the other on Nov. 3 when Oladipo hit a pull-up 3-pointer in the closing seconds for a 102-101 victory in Indiana.

Since trading Paul George to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Oladipo and Deomantas Saboins (14.9 points, 9.6 rebounds), the Pacers have had success, going 48-34 a year ago and are near the top of the East this season.

The Celtics leave for south Florida right after the game to play the Miami Heat on Thursday night, kicking off a three-game road trip.
