2019 Ram HD truck gets 6.7L Cummins diesel with 1000 lb-ft of torque


Along with that new and more powerful engine, the truck also as air springs and high-strength steel in its build.


The truck rides on stronger and lighter front and rear axles and has progressive springs with upgraded bushings.


The body is restyled, and while it uses lots of high-strength steel, the truck uses some aluminum to shave 143 pounds compared to the previous version.


Inside the truck is all new with electric heating elements for the HVAC system and a bunch of USB ports along with a large Tesla-like center screen for Nav.


The base system has a 5-inch screen, an 8.4-inch is, and the big one seen in the image here is an optional 12-inch unit.


The Ram HD will also come in a Power Wagon version aimed at off-roading complete with a unique suspension and standard winch.
