VIDEO: Ian Rapoport Says Blake Bortles Won't Be Back With Jags in 2019

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles' tenure with the team has been an interesting one to say the least.

According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, he'll be on his way out after the season ends.

His replacement could come via the draft, or free agency, or both," Rapoport said when discussing the changes the Jags will make after the season.

Within a few months of signing the lucrative extension, Bortles has found himself on the bench in favor of Cody Kessler.

The Jaguars will potentially be $7.7 million over the cap after the season concludes, so they will need to make a series of roster moves to get back under, one of which will include dumping Bortles.

During his 2018 campaign, Bortles has only thrown for 2,572 yards, 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
